2008 Grant Application

From time to time we are asked what do we do with the money we make on the Covered Bridge Metric Century? First and foremost, we use any profits to help offset the cost of some of the Club's activities.
Our dues are subsidized and kept well below the cost of producing and mailing our monthly newsletter.
We also subsidize the various social events that the club members enjoy.
In 2001, we began a program of subsidizing any member who wishes to participate in a designated rally. These are not complete reimbursements but subsidies in the form of reduced payments compared to what the full price would have been.

When we do have surplus funds, we put them back into the community. Generally, we support activities relating to bicycling and try to assist governmental and non-profit organizations with their programs. A listing of our recent donations follows.
