A beautiful December day for a ride. The B/C winter casual ride decided to do our ride so ended up with about 15 riders. Riders: Karen Drawbaugh (leader), Ray Landis, Gary Ballina, Curt Stager, and Amy Mitchell.

Central Manor Dec 16
What a ride, what a turnout and what a day. Sunny, 50 degrees and this is a week before Christmas. The steep hills (especially Vista Dr.) separated the very strong from the pretty good, but most of us met up again at the Central Manor Restaurant. Good food and a good place to socialize before heading back to East Pete into a strong headwind. Some 33 riders showed up do this ride, which I was supposed to lead for Harry; however, due to a bad chest cold, I elected to not ride, but I did manage to show up with Q-sheets and to take attendance. Wow! What a gorgeous day for a bike ride, 51 degrees and sunny, winds at 14 mph with gusting at 21 mph, so it did make for a tough ride at times. We had 24 riders and we wish them a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Great ride and thanks to all. Landisville Short (D) Dec 30
Four riders joined me for a nice social ride around the newly preserved farmland of the Buckwalter farm, borders along Old Prospect Road and Broad Street. Funds come from the Farmland Trust and you can help save other farms at their spring event (10th Annual Pedal to Preserve Ride). Bob did a great job calling out car back, sorry I was chatting to much. Thanks for a great enjoyable last of the year Saturday ride. 2006 WEB (Wednesday Early Brunch) Rides update
It was brought to the Scribe's attention that Chuck Wissing, Bill Hoffman and Dennis Hall were left out of the 2006 WEB participant list. Apologies to them and to anyone else who inadvertently was overlooked. Also, at breakfast on the last Wednesday of December 2006, 24 participants sang a "round" rendition of Happy Birthday to Carol Weisser, who turned 50 on 12/30/2006.
