Once again our club members will have a chance to celebrate the Tour de France Lancaster style! From July 3rd through July 25th we'll be pushing pedals together as we set new goals, become fitter, become better cyclists and meet new friends. PLUS . . . there are fabulous prizes -- but you have to work for them.

Club members will choose their weekend ride (A, B, C D). During the week there will be one or two rides (on hill days) starting from various locations around Lancaster County. NEW this year . . . hump- day challenge loops for folks who want to go the extra mile!

HERE ARE THE RULES:

1) You must be a club member to participate for prizes.

2) You must abide by the club’s Code of Conduct.

3) The event is defined as the weekend A-B-C-D and All Class club rides, and the weeknight Tour de Red Rose rides. No other rides count and no substitutions will be made.

4) Registration will not be extended for any reason. It's FREE. It's publicized months in advance. Click the link above to register today!

5) In order to get credit toward the prizes, you must have your card at the ride and be responsible for getting your sticker. This is a huge event organized and run by a very small group of people. They have a lot to do and keep track of. You have 2 things to do - show up to ride, and bring your card.

6) Rides cancelled due to weather: If a single ride is cancelled and you rode the ride before the cancelled ride, or you come to the ride after the cancelled ride, you can collect a sticker for the one that was cancelled. If multiple days in a row are cancelled, the criteria for earning the prizes may be reduced - this will be decided by the committee depending on the circumstances. Deciding at the time of the event keeps us from having to "what if" ourselves to death in advance and from creating a rules manual the size of the tax code.

7) Additional rules will be created by the committee as situations come up. We can't think of everything.

8) No grousing about the rules. If you grouse about the rules you will be asked to serve on the committee next year.
